The recommended XI is the eleven with the highest projected fantasy points across both sides, ranked on three things: each man's average over his last five matches (70%), his career (20%) and his record against these opponents (10%). Until a side names its XI its whole squad is in the pool, with a mark on anyone who did not play its last match.

Captain counts double and vice-captain one and a half times. Bowlers' totals omit the dot-ball point the projections include — the feed does not report dot balls — so a bowler reads a little under his projection.
