Every number here is ranked three ways: against every
men's T20 in the archive, against this competition (for a T20
international, every T20 international), and against every earlier
meeting of these two sides. The bar shows where it sits: the further
right, the higher.
The match is ranked at the same stage. After 12 overs
of the first innings it is compared with every match after 12 overs of
its first innings; in a chase, the whole first innings plus the same
number of overs of the chase. Once the match is over it is compared
with every completed match. The page updates as each over is completed.
Batters and bowlers are compared with every completed
innings and spell, so a batter still in can only climb. Strike rate
and dot-ball percentage need 10 balls faced; a bowler's economy, dots
and runs need two overs. Partnerships are compared with stands for the
same wicket.
Only what stands out is listed. The Batters and
Bowlers tabs show at most five — the most unusual, each inside
the top or bottom 5% of a comparison — and more only for
something exceptional: a record against every T20 or this
competition, or the top 1% of all T20s. Everyone else is ranked too,
and counted beneath the list.
"Top 4%" means only 4% of the comparison did as well
or better (ties included); "lowest 4%" the same from
the other end. A record is first place, shared with
at most two others. A dot ball is a legal ball with nothing off the
bat. Comparisons with fewer than 10 matches are faded —
too few to read much into.
